Surprisingly delicious and naturally sweet, raw cacao is high in antioxidants and flavonoids, which promote cardiovascular health, reduce blood clotting, and improve circulation and blood pressure. It also improves your mood by increasing the levels of serotonin and endorphins in the brain.
Ingredients
¼ cup cacao butter *
¼ cup cacao powder
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon alcohol free vanilla extract
2 tablespoons peanut butter, divided
4 large cupcake paper liners or 6 mini cupcake paper liners
Directions
Fill a small saucepan with ¼ cup chunks of cacao butter, simmer until melted. Turn off heat and whisk in cacao powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until completely dissolved.
Place 4 cupcake paper liners into a cupcake tray and spoon a thin layer of melted chocolate sauce into the bottom of each liner. Dollop and divide peanut butter into the center and fill with the remaining chocolate sauce.
Place tray in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours. Remove from the refrigerator, peel away the paper cup and devour!
