Best Raw Vegan Fudge
Creamy melt-in-your-mouth homemade Raw Vegan Chocolate Fudge is everything you would expect in a traditional fudge, but better; healthy all natural ingredients, rich, satisfying and extremely addictive!
Recipe should take no more than 10 minutes to make. Add an additional 15 minutes for it to set. If you can’t wait that long, just eat a spoon after mixing to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Raw cacao is high in antioxidants and flavonoids, which promote cardiovascular health, reduce blood clotting, and improve circulation and blood pressure. It also improves your mood by increasing the levels of serotonin and endorphins in the brain.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup cacao butter, melted
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup cacao powder
1 cup maple syrup
*1/2 cup natural peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
**small handful pistachios, sliced (optional)
Directions:
Pour all ingredients into a high speed blender, pouring in the melted cacao butter last, blend on high until creamy. Pour into a parchment paper lines small casserole dish and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Remove from the fridge, pop out the fudge by turning the dish upside down and slice into chunks.
*Change your flavor by changing out the butters and/or extracts: cashew butter, hazelnut butter, etc.; almond extract, peppermint, etc.
**You can opt to use any nuts you prefer or no nuts at all if you like your fudge creamy and smooth.
*Raw Cacao Butter can be purchased on Amazon if not found in your local health food market.
